Home Accessible Transportation was founded by two dedicated caregivers who witnessed firsthand the critical role reliable transportation plays in the lives of individuals with limited mobility. Time and again, they saw patients miss essential medical appointments—not due to health complications, but because transportation providers arrived late or failed to show up entirely, often without notice.
Moved by these experiences, they set out to create a service that prioritizes reliability, dignity, and care. Home Accessible Transportation was born out of a deep commitment to ensure that no one misses a dialysis session, doctor’s appointment, or hospital discharge due to transportation failures.

Each of Our Drivers Must Undergo:
Background Checks
Pass all required federal, state, and local background checks
Justice Check
Undergo a Department of Justice Background Check
Sex Offender Screening
Undergo a National Sex Offenders Registry Screening
Drug Screening
Pass employment drug and alcohol screenings as allowed and required by law
Training
Take a sexual harassment training. Take defensive driving training and pass.
